The past 30 days have been crazy! I feel like every day melted into one and haven't had a minute to just sit and breathe. We successfully moved mid december thanks so much to my dad and uncles. Toby wasn't home the weekend we were moving, and I needed all the help I could get. I'm so thankful to have such a helpful family!
Next thing I knew, it was almost Christmas. Uh-oh. I had not even started my Christmas shopping...I blame my "pregnancy brain"! My head was also pre-occupied with getting to hear the baby's heartbeat. This was it. This was the moment everything started going crazy in my head. HOLY MOLY THERE'S A LIVE HUMAN BEING INSIDE OF ME THAT I'M RESPONSIBLE FOR! What a feeling! Again, thankful for my family, I have gotten tons of great advice and encouragement from the other moms.
Christmas came and went. I was sad to have only some of our family there for our traditional Christmas Eve party...I missed you all!
We went to Toby's mom's house for a few days and then stopped at my mom's house on the way home. I then had to go right back to work, no extra days off.
New Years Eve was celebrated with Toby and my coworker, her hubby and some of their friends. I made it til about 2:30am...I think that's the latest I've ever stayed up on New Year's Eve. I'm absolutely looking forward to 2012.
Now we get to play the waiting game again. When Toby comes home from work, I have another doctor appointment to hopefully find out what we are having!
