Stagecoach 2011!!!!!!!!!

I just had the best weekend. Ever. Not only do I have a best friend who is just plain awesome, but I have a best friend I get to celebrate my birthday with!!

To celebrate the big 25, Kaelyn suggested we go to Stagecoach this year. Great idea!! All that fun has to help ease the pain of turning a quarter of a century old, right? RIGHT!!!!

We were able to enjoy 2 whole days of country music!! We saw Darius Rucker, Chris Young, Jack Ingram, Josh Turner, Eastin Corbin, Joanna Smith, The Harters, and so many others. As for the headliners, we got to see Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, and Rascal Flatts!!

They were all so amazing. I have seen Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts before..this was my 3rd time seeing Rascal Flatts. They just know how to work a crowd and get everyone so excited. Kaelyn loved seeing them live for the first time, so I think we need to make sure to see them in September when they are here! Carrie Underwood was amazingly beautiful. I love her music and her voice. I would definitely see her again!!

All of this fun did come at a price however. The whole weekend left me with a grand total of 15 hours of sleep! Friday night we got everything packed up and went to bed around midnight only to get up 6 short hours later to start our day. We made it to the venue, waited for the gates to open, found our seats (which is all general admission and you just bring blankets and beach chairs as seating) and started to wander. Although, we were already tired by that point considering it was at least a mile from the car to our seats. Yeah, I said a mile. We enjoyed our shows and left just before Kenny Chesney was done with his set. Got home, showered went to bed around 1:30am. We decided we wanted to get there a little earlier on Sunday morning so we got up at 6am again, but this time made it out the door by 7:30am! We got AMAZING seating on sunday. Thanks to Kaelyns hubby running way ahead of us to go snatch up some sweet real estate!

Sunday night we left after Rascal Flatts was finished (they were the final show and pretty much the whole reason why we went!!) That meant we didn't get back to Kaelyn's until about 1:30am. I showered and drove home. Got home about 3:30am and had to get up for work this morning at 6:30am!!

All in all it was a great weekend and I think we are going to go again next year!
